fun-o-rama was a blast!
our long days and nights of banner painting, baking or setting up scaffolding really paid off. i love myclassscone even more now =).
i woke up with a sore throat and a runny nose in the morning and it kind of stayed the entire day. i think i ate about 8 strepsils in all. but thank God i could last. the day still was really enjoyable!
for the first part valen pt and i walked around doing publicity. people kept staring at us and taking photos of us, with and without permission -.- . some people walked up and said 'hi, ghost!' too. but valen looked really cute! a lot of people said so too. =)
the three of us were caught up in this cycle of eating and drinking. eating made us thirsty. and after that we would be hungry again.
sigh we should have gone into the hall and spent our coupons on ac jackets though. we didn't even know they were selling them. =( i hope they'll at least sell them in 2 years time, at the next fun-o-rama. if anyone doesn't really want your ac jacket i'll buy it from you.
anyway, we rushed up when it was almost 2 to do our shift.
some people thought my hand was a fake. until they touched it. haha. the girls kept hitting my hand and the guys kept shaking my hand or trying to pull me out. ouch. but if they annoyed me too much i grabbed their hands. hehh.
i heard my og walking past. two of them hit my hand okay. and apparently my hand went limp for a while after they hit it. but gosh do you expect my hand to be able to resist the force completely? no way! i might try it on them if they don't believe me. haha.
ooh and i heard mrs chen's group too! really amusing. the fear was in their voices but of course they didn't scream.
all in all the day went by smoothly.. thank God that everything fell into place in time. thank God even for the rain, that i think gave the cafe a booming business =).
